Dura Manufacturing operates an Omada manufactured 9kW fibre laser cutting system, delivering high cutting speeds, accuracy and reliability across a broad material range. The high-power fibre source enables efficient cutting of thin-gauge sheet through to heavy-section plate while maintaining clean edges and minimal heat-affected zones.
Typical cutting capabilities include mild steel up to approximately 25mm, stainless steel up to 20mm, aluminium up to 20mm, and copper and brass up to 10mm, depending on material grade and specification. The fibre laser platform provides rapid piercing and high traverse speeds, making it particularly effective for complex profiles, tight tolerances and high repeatability production.
